I want to start this off by commending the work of Norman Borlaug. An American agronomist who is responsible for saving an estimated 1 billion individuals from starvation by engineering strains of wheat and rice to grow in various developing nations around the world. He was given the Nobel Peace Price in 1970 for his achievements and remains senior consultant at the CIMMYT at 93 years of age.

I’m all for organic food, I eat it often. Greenpeace and Friends of the Earth standing between him and millions of lives being saved while spewing their pompous ideology all over the place — disgusting.
