So it turns out the hole was just made from a giant gopher.It was logged in the Guinness Book of Records and then BBQ’ed in a Southern French town with some capers and ale. Everyone danced around the rotisserie gopher until a lumbering man came sprinting out of the woods and lopped all of their heads off with a novelty-sized samurai sword and began to pick the brains out with a spork he made out of bamboo. The clouds began to darken above as the leaves on the trees turned into  flames and and it started to rain burnt chili peppers. The end. I will write more of what happened at a later date.
