More snow. I’m loosing count how many times, more than 4 I think? Without city services I think it would be a different scenario, getting around outside would be a nightmare. Oh, a few months ago I started growing a little garden on a utility rack. No hydroponics, just organic soil mediums under full spectrum compact florescent bulbs. At the moment I have 2 small red beans, 10 Bhut Jolokia pepper plants, a couple of Goji Berry sprouts, 2 black Densuke watermelon vines, 2 Eureka Lemon trees, 4 Black Sea Man Heirloom tomato plants (which are struggling at the moment, they might have an organic soil fungus, which isn’t uncommon), what else… 2 wild strawberry seedlings and a Dwarf Tophat blueberry bush. I’m using an organic liquid worm casting formula to keep them fed. So far so good, everything is a nice shade of green and growing well without an external heat source. I need to get a proper grow-light fixture. Here is a pic from last week, and here is Athena, w/o an exit strategy.
