Some great cinema on hulu this week, Ghostbusters II and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, and a nice track from the Gregory Brothers: Reality Hits You Hard Bro.

My first compost is nearly complete. When I first started out with it I just thew mostly organic fruit peels, old greens, used tea leaves, almond and vegetable pulp in a bucket – nitrogen rich materials. After about 2 months of that it started to rot, it smelled like a sewer. So I went online for composting instructions (which I should have done to begin with) and found out there was too much moisture, not enough carbon from brown materials, and, I should have been flipping it every so often. I put some unbleached newsprint and some oak leaves and it started to work the next day, I could feel the heat in the bottom of the bucket. After about a week and a half later like magic the bucket of crap had transformed into soil. Go by a 1:1 ratio carbon to nitrogen materials and you should not have any trouble.

Starting November 1st I’m going to do away with the free licenses on sundayresourcecommittee.com, probably change the name and tie up any loose ends and scrub though all the files once more. I’ll be back Wed.
