Q: What does MEWY mean?
A: It’s a hybrid acronym for Machine Weekly.

Q: Where does Machine Weekly come from?
A: Machine Kode and Weekly, because I (usually) update it at least once per week.

Q: OK, so what else is MEWY?
A: It’s a company name for products I make. It’s Polish for gulls.

Q: 4 nouns.
A: Agate, paint, pencil, rubber.

Q: sRGB or CMYK.?
A: sRGB. It has the widest gamut.

Q: Is that all?
A: Nope. The blog uses 5 colors:3 font families, in 3 different sizes and 3 different styles.

Q: What are these animations?
A: They are all vector export, there are no bitmaps in the making of the animations.

Q: Favorite synthetic material?
A: G10-FR4 (fiberglass epoxy). Is a fire rated electrical-grade, dielectric fiberglass laminate resin. They commonly use it to make larger scale model rockets, knife handles, printed circuit boards (PCB), pistol grips, etc. It has an extremely high tensile strength, it’s somewhat translucent, relatively inexpensive, good electric strength properties, colors include yellowish to light-green, orange, red, blue, and black. If I were to go into battle against robots, I would make a suit of amour out of this stuff.

Q: Favorite natural material?
A: Bamboo. You can make everything from bed linens to hard wood floors with this versatile high-yield renewable resource.
